Last thursday I've attended the Salesforce Customer Company Tour in Paris, not just as a partner (IBM was demonstrating Cloud integration solutions such as Cast Iron) but also as a marketer. Most of the demonstrations and customer testimonials were focusing on the digital transformation. The one from Renault with MyRenault app and their new electric/connected car named Zoe was really impressive (Patrick Hoffstetter, Chief Digital Officer at Renault). Social, mobile, CRM and cloud computing capabilities were blended to provide a complete new customer experience with the brand. The tradeshow was also a good opportunity to engage with the french ecosystem around these solutions while meeting with some former IBMrs such as Joel Demay (@jdemay), Olivier Vrbanac (@ovrbanac) and Daniel Da Silva. Joel Rubino (@joelrubino) who has recently lauched his start up (Apicube) also showed me how his new social media listening solution was working, have a look at what this company is doing for the city of Toulouse, very interesting. Last but not least, I'm including the following video from Salesforce as it's underlying well what IBM has been saying during the last 2 years around its Global CMO study and Smarter Marketing solutions to address the challenges of the demanding and emerging 'Chief Executive Officer'!
